Despite making a wrong turn to the shoot location (with the model’s family following me), bees buzzing around a girl that is terrified of bees (though you would never know that from the photo below), and Mom realizing her debit card was missing, this turned out to be one of the funnest sessions I have done to date.
In fact, it was so fun, I think I wore them out!
First of all, it was a lovely Interior Alaska late summer day at the Chena Lakes Recreation Area, a place loaded with pretty spots to shoot in.
Secondly, it doesn’t hurt when you are photographing a girl who looks like she just fell off the cover of Seventeen magazine.
Third, Kelly and I are kindred spirits, as she also has a passion for all things related to photography.
But I think what really made it enjoyable for me was that we were also doing some family portraits including her brothers and her parents, and that was a fun bunch!
Great sports all around, and I’ll be blogging their part of the session shortly.
