Here in North Pole, we’re fortunate to have one of the top holiday attractions in the country just down the road. Christmas in Ice is open during the season, and what more magical place to pop the question on Christmas Eve!
The family came along for some fun among the ice sculptures.
I was honored to be witness to and recorder of this event last year, and wish the newlyweds a bright and merry life together!
When the kids are grown and have their own, and Grandpa works the Slope, and Grandma wants some family pics, how’s a photographer to cope?
The one time that you can count on having everyone in one place is the holidays, so last year about this time I made a house call to some friends after their Thanksgiving feast! Here are a few of my favorites from that session…
Shifting gears to winter in Alaska, the Kreller family wanted some wintery shots for their holiday photos last year.
Last November, we met down by the Chena River on a beautiful chilly day to capture some of that
frosty magic in the air.
The kids were troopers, never complaining about the cold and having a great time in the snow.
We raise them pretty tough up here in Fairbanks!
So, last summer, once again at the botanical garden,
I was honored to be able to shoot this very pretty girl’s senior photos.
And she’s an awesome big sister!
As well as a talented athlete.
I was able to go to a tennis match and a basketball game to get some pics of her in action!
The botanical garden was a very popular place last summer! I met up with this wonderful young family there for some fun in the waning midnight sun last August. Here are some of my faves from the session:
I like to call this one Family Tree…
Little guy Cash was having himself a blast…
And River is a perfect little model, especially in the fantastic honeybee outfit she was wearing!
It just begged for the fairy tale treatment!
